344 pages of absolute brilliance. This story is extraordinary, outstanding,  and beautiful. emotions are pouring out of me from every pore. Happiness, sadness, envy, anger are just seeping from me after the turmoil this story has left me in. This is the book to end all books. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if I never read another book againIi would be content with this being my last book.

Let’s start off with the storyline of the book. it starts off as a very unnormal normal day. the day is when Natasha is getting deported and Daniel is going to have an interview for Yale. By a complete string of events, they end up meeting and spending the day together. This story, this masterpiece, is an incredible story. The way Yoon just traps you into these two kids little world and the events of just one day impresses me a lot. I mean she wrote 344 page books in which most were of just one day and was still able to hold my attention. I think Yoon has super powers. She is a scientist and a poet.

I love the way this way was written. First not only does it have the view of Daniel and Natasha, it has the view of people around them who have seemingly no importance to the story whatsoever. Through these use of different perspectives, you can see how they actually did affect Natasha and Daniel and how Natasha and Daniel affected them. The author also includes these little chapters of science or fate or religion basically. I really enjoyed how not only was I reading an intensely emotional book I learned some cool facts.

Natasha and Daniel are my OTP. I try not to say that often but I don’t have any other words to describe it. I cannot say they are meant for each other (which they are) because it is too cliche but I need to show how much I was fighting for them to stay together. They are like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, they complete each other. Without each other, they would just be fragments of something bigger.

All my life, in all the books I have read, I have not found a single one as unique as this. The way everything happens, the way it ends, the way the emotions pull you apart but glue you together all at the same time. I have never found any book with so many different perspectives that I have loved like this. I cannot put into words to describe how much I liked this book. I think I will end it there before my emotions cannot take thinking about the book any longer.
