My Review:

This book was a very emotional ride for me. Harry Potter was my childhood and I was delighted to experience it once again. This has been on of my most anticipated read of 2016. It was a very breathtaking and enchanting book.

The plot was engaging. It had adequate foreshadowing that didn’t give the entire story away. The story was properly thought out. It kept faithful to the Harry Potter adventures we have read but had some Science Fiction stirred in instead. A lot of going back and forth between Albus and Harry’s affairs but I didn’t mind it as much as I have in other novels. I think at parts it was a bit predictable. Certain moments I wasn’t as surprised as I wished I had been. All in all, it was still a satisfying plot.

The story was written as a script because it is a play that is being performed in London. I liked the stage directions said how actors said particular things so you had a clue into what they were saying and how, but frequently you had to interpret a lot of the words which isn’t too hard if you pay attention to context. I am not the best person for interpretation so I kind of wish it was written in a normal narrative. I would have liked it better in narrative form because I am a little bias. But details of the places aren’t needed because we have been in that world many times.

Reading this book was very amusing, very painful, very exciting, and very fast. I could have gotten through this book in one sitting because of the formation of the story but I chose to preserve it for a little while longer (I didn’t save it for long though about five hours later after I put it down I picked it up again and read it.) it was a really easy read I mean if you aren’t like me and break down crying every twenty minutes. Anyone could read this. It was just an easy read, unlike the other Harry P books.

This is my like top book of 2016 already because of Harry Potter duh. But this book has so many great things about it. There are few things that are not my favorite but I still love this story so much. I wish I could go see the play. I also hope you enjoyed this review.
