A Lazy List of Five

“Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” -That Artsy Reader Girl

This weeks theme is:

Books with a full sentence as the title!

I wanted to keep going but this is my one night I have time to write so I am only going to have 5 books on this list.

What If it’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith

I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

It does not surprise me that over half of these were YA romance books. They always have the longest titles.

Don’t forget to link your post down below!

  • Ask your nominees 4 questions.
  • Share something you created. (can be anything!)
  • And lastly, just so you know: I LOVE YOUR CREATIONS!

Tell me something about this world that you admire

I just really admire nature. I love going on drives to go see the way the world curves and how it is shaped. I love seeing and hearing forests or the ocean. Ugh, I love nature.

What is your favourite form of creativity?

I really love writing and creating worlds through writing. If I were to pick something that I cant do, it would be songwriting. I dont write song’s but I think they convey beautiful worlds too.

Steph’s Questions:

  • What is your favourite song at the moment?

I am really listening to the re-released Fearless album (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift. I am loving listening to all my old favorites again. And her Mr. Perfectly Fine is fire!

  • Who would you choose as your book (romantic or platonic) partner?

Not to default to Harry Potter characters, but George Weasley will always be the boyfriend of my dreams.

Second would be Julian from the Caraval series. I have only read the first book so far but I love it.

  • Which country do you wish you could live in?

I wish I could live in Scotland if I have to choose another country. I do really want to live in New York, but if it is a new country, definitely Scotland. I mean I have never seen a picture that has disappointed my eyes. I want to go visit so bad.

  • Which book do you wish you had written?

Harry Potter. That will always be the blueprint for me if I ever write a book. Or any Sarah J. Maas book. She is just amazing.

I do not really have too much that I created one this computer but I will put a picture on here that I took the other day:

My friend with a smiley balloon

My Questions:

  • What shows are you watching right now?
  • What characters are you most like?
  • What are your goals for this month? Any projects you are trying to finish?
  • What is you favorite kind of music?

I nominate:

OMG this was such a fun tag. I am so happy to have been a part of this. Again, THANK YOU STEPH for the nomination. I am so grateful for you, your blog, and your nomination.

As always, thanks for reading,

WWW: AGH I AM SO LATE

For those that dont know, WWW is a meme and this meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of WordsAnd it involves answering the 3 Ws!

Agh I am writing this at 11pm on Wednesday. School is kicking my ass this quarter. I need to spend some really lengthy time just doing homework this weekend to get ahead.

Anyways, here we go…

What am I currently reading?

I am reading:

And I Darken by Kiersten White

What did I recently finish?

I just finished Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I will hopefully have a review of this up soon!

What am I reading next?

I am going to read A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab!

Okay, okay, okay it might take me a while to finish my currently reading, so I might not see you guys this next Wednesday. I have so much going on. But, I will be reading and trying to bust some posts out. I swear eventually I will be on top of everything.

As always, thanks for reading,

TTT: Book I would most want to throw in the ocean…

“Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” -That Artsy Reader Girl

This week’s theme is:

Books you would like the throw into the ocean

  1. Now, this post is going to be really short. I dont think I could even come up with a book that I hate enough to write for this list. It would be so disrespectful of me to do such a horrid thing.
  2. If I Stay by Gayle Foreman

No seriously, that is the list. I have never read a book that I hated as much as I hated this book. I read this years ago in like a day just so I could see the movie, and I hated the book so much I didn’t go see the movie.

I absolutely hate it.

I could never compare my hatred for another book as much as I hate this one.

I remember there was controversy over bookstagrammers burning books for cool photos. But, I would not care if they burnt all of the copies of this book for Instagram.

Anyways, that is the post. I saw the topic at 9pm on Tuesday and thought “Hell yeah, I can bash If I Stay.” That is literally the only reason I decided to write today.

WWW: What am I going to read next?

If you don’t know what WWW is, then why do you live under a rock? Just kidding! It is a meme and this meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of WordsAnd it involves answering the 3 Ws!

I finally finished Kingdom of Ash which has ended a huge series. I think I am going to take some time to read a few stand alones or smaller series.

What am I currently reading?

I am reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber.

What did I recently finish?

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

I finally did it. I finished. My review went out Monday of it go check it out.

What am I reading next?

The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid

This is just one book of many that I could read. I am so excited now that I can also start the ACOTAR series. I dont know when I will start though.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this.

Places in Books I Want to Live in: TTT

“Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” -That Artsy Reader Girl

This week’s theme is:

Places in books you want to live

Ah, I am so excited about this one. I think about this a lot.

Clearly some of my answers are going to be very obvious but I will try to surprise you as best as I can.

  1. Hogwarts

Reason: Ummm do I even need to explain

Hogwarts Castle from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

2. Terrasen

This is such a beautifully described place. And I love the smell of pine so I think the Pine forest would suit me well.

Depiction of Terrasen from this website

3. Torre Cesme

I mean just for the library alone. And to meet the Baast Cats. I would love it there.

Tower of Pisa I am pretending is the Torre Cesme

3. New York

I mean this is from a lot of books that I love, most recently, Dash and Lilly and What If It’s Us. It has also been my dream to move to New York. So, any excuse to talk about New York, I am game.

Picture of Times Square New York

4. Doon

I have loved Doon ever since I read the books. I think it sounds so beautiful and I also really want to go to Scotland.

Doon Cover

5. Wonderland

More specifically, the Wonderland that Marissa Meyers creates in Heartless. And probably before the Catherine becomes evil.

Alice in Wonderland

6. The Maze

I love the Maze Runner. I do not think being in the Maze and living in the Maze would be great. But, the men there. Oh my goodness. I would do it just for that.

Picture of the Maze Entrance

7. Watford School of Magicks

Not as great as Hogwarts, but I loved Carry On and would love to see this other magic school.

And with that, I end my list. I could not think of ten places. I really like these places.
